Please remove Schedule 10 from Bill 66, which allows municipalities to override provisions in the Greenbelt Act, Clean Water Act, Lake Simcoe Act, Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Act and Great Lakes Protection Act. This land should preserved for the generations to come and not squandered.

I think it would be very foolish to expand into the Greenbelt. We don't need more room for houses, we need to work on using the space more efficiently.

I do not want the Ontario government to allow any infringement upon the Greenbelt. It is home to water sheds, farms and much-needed green space for the ever expanding population of the Golden Horseshoe. The Greenbelt should be properly protected. Changes in legislation should not allow any loopholes or back doors that will allow municipalities to circumvent the Greenbelt protections.

This bill is folly. The green belt must remain as it is! Our forests and water ways must remain intact and pristine. Building will degrade it all. The green belt must remain untouchable by developers, mining, logging etc.
