No doubt this is another stupid idea from your government's friends at OFAH. This proposed change to 30 m is Dangerous and Unsafe. In any case baiting of bears or any animal is Absurd. It's not "hunting". It's "shooting fish in barrel." Lire davantage

I support the change to reduce the minimum distance of bait placement from a road. The change from 200m to 30m would be very beneficial for all people. Keeping citizens safe and the hunters alike. It will also allow handicapped and aging hunters to both safely participate in hunting. Lire davantage

I agree with the changes to the placement of bait from 200 to 30 meters. This will improve access for all hunters and eliminate the need for hunters to move existing stands.

I congratulate the Minister for responding in a positive manner to concerns raised by the hunting public and outfitters across Ontario. The current bait placement regulations are unclear and overly restrictive. Lire davantage

This is an unacceptable proposal that is cruel to wildlife and has no benefit to humans. It’s unsafe to all. Please stop pandering to killers and have some respect for wildlife.

Please scrap the proposal to allow bear baiting near roads and hiking trails. This puts human safety at risk. Hikers could come into contact with a bear. A vehicle could come into collision with a bear. Please ban all bear baiting. Please also stop the spring bear hunt. Lire davantage
