I am concerned only “hunters” are invited to participate in the proposal and comment. The moose population is a concern and relevant to all Ontarian's. I propose decreased available tags especially in regards to cows and calves. Lire davantage

Many of the changes look like a positive approach. However I think the suggestions for party hunting combined with the new draw system are too restrictive. My suggestion is to leave party hunting alone as it is. The new draw system alone is restrictive enough.

The system did not need to be more complex in order to save moose populations and maintain hunting opportunities. This points allocation system along with the 2 fee types is not conducive to a inviting hunting environment. Lire davantage

I liked it when you had to put 2 tags on a Moose. If it went to 4 tags I think it would work better. To many Moose getting hit on the Northern hwy killing and injuring people.

First priority should be given to those applicants who reside in the WMU they’re applying for. It is not right that applicants who do not reside in say 21B, get a tag for that WMU. My husband and I have only ever received a tag each once since we began applying for tags. Lire davantage

I have been a moose hunter for almost 20 years and the tag allocation is/was obviously not working since I've ever only received 1 tag in a group. I hunt mostly in WMU 42 and some years in WMU 21/22. My main issue is for WMU 42 where my family has a hunt camp. Lire davantage

I find that hunting was a family gathering and great time spent in the outdoor but now whit the tag system we gave up north I seen more mosses get hit by vehicles and then ever but the stats says the moose population is going down. I completely agree with making changes to the calf hunt in (WMUs) 37, 40, 41, 42 and 47, but I believe the issue lies with the few number of adult moose tags in this area. The hunters are fed up and have no choice but to hunt calf. Lire davantage

Why not just adapt the Quebec’s sustainable system for Moose management. It’s less complicated than this point system and it works. The moose population in Quebec is actually increasing as a result of their common sense approach without the loss of hunting opportunity for individual hunters.
