The bear hunt MUST be stopped. This is beyond cruelty or necessity. These are sentient beings. They have souls. They feel pain. They have families. There is no need to allow this hunt to proceed. It’s murder in cold blood and needs to be stopped for good.

A spring bear hunt is cruel and inhumane in light of hunters not distinguishing between a male and a female bear. Will undoubtedly lead to orphaned cubs and the death toll will climb. And these orphaned cubs will suffer in the process.

Please do NOT implement the spring hunt on black bears! I fear many cubs will die as orphans when hunters fail to differentiate between female and male bears as it is difficult to tell the difference.

This is such a bad idea. Hunters cannot be reasonably expected to identify female bears from a football field away. Please do not pass this bill. This is trophy hunting not needed for food or clothing, a hide hanging on a wall. No different than killing an elephant or rhino.

If you're looking to control the bear population PLEASE don't do it by killing them! Please find another more ethical solution...capturing baby female cubs, spaying them and the relaxing them back. This is more costly but more humane. Lire davantage
