Please do not open spring hunting on black bears. It is too difficult to distinguish male and female bears, which puts mother bears at risk either during pregnancy or when they have cubs to care for. Thank you.

I believe that a ban on spring bear hunting is needed. Please continue this practice. Hunters can not distinguish the difference between male and female bears at a distance and risk orphaning cubs. Thank you for your consideration.

I think that there is only one reason for killing any living thing: survival. So unless bears are attacking you or some other living being, or you plan to eat it’s flesh, or it’s numbers are over-running the safety of your home or neighborhood, leave the animal alone. Lire davantage
