Knowing that hunting bears in the spring will certainly leave cubs as orphans and ultimately starve to death in unconscionable. The hunt boils down to money both for the government and its agencies. Shame on Ontario.

I believe that this is an absolutely cruel act that should not be allowed. Serial killers start with animals, and I don't see the difference between killing a dog for fun and killing a bear for fun. There are other forms of entertainment that don't involve orphaning animals. Lire davantage

Do not reinstate the spring bear hunt. There are no valid scientific reasons to do so. Hunters are unable to distinguish female bears with cubs resulting in orphaned cubs starving to death.

There is no need to kill bears. I have a hard time understanding why we are such a barbaric species.
