100% support spring bear hunt as I have had to chase bears out of my yard and away from my daughters play area several times . We need to control the population responsibly .

The full reinstatement of the spring bear hunt is welcomed news. I fully support the management of the species and the economic benefits it brings! From equipment, to bait, to tourism.

Please stop the bear hunting. It is inhumane, cruel and sends a terrible message to future generations that "killing" is simply the solution to any issue being faced. Given technological advances, conclusive research collected about bears and their behaviour, this has become unacceptable.

I am in favour of the continuation of the Ontario Spring Black Bear Hunt. I also agree with the bait placement proposed changes. I do not however agree with the non resident changes for direct family members or land owners. Lire davantage

It's unfortunate that the value being placed on our wildlife comes down to the almighty dollar. The spring bear hunt brings in millions and when it was cancelled in the past, the tourism industry lost money. Lire davantage

A bear hunt is unnecessary. A spring bear hunt is not only unnecessary but cruel as it deprives new born cubs of their mothers. These animals are an important part of the ecosystem.

Stop the hunters killing families of bears and wildlife. They are all families and when thry kill one the rest if the animals also suffer a loss. Its cruel and heartless.

Is it really necessary to exploit black bears to satisfy the needs of tourists and local hunters? The lives of those who have no choice and cannot defend themselves should be protected, especially when the population is declining.
