I highly recommend a full Spring Bear Hunt in Ontario. I am a traditional Moose and Deer hunter, however, I see more and more Bear sign and feel the population is adequate to support the spring season.

I am not in favour of renewing the Spring Bear Hunt. I cottage in the area near the Restoule Provincial Park. I have been there 30 years. Bears are just part of the experience. They belong. Local people and seasonal cottager owners need to learn to live with their presence.

I 100% agree that the Ontario spring bear hunt shall become a permanent hunt. It is very important for both resource management and helps to limit the amount of unwanted interactions between humans and bears. This harvest is a vital source to Ontario's conservation and management of Black Bears.

I wish to express my strong opposition to any plans the Ontario government has to extend the spring bear hunt or to make it permanent. I THINK WE SHOULD TOTALLY ELIMINATE THE BLACK BEAR HUNT ON THE BRUCE PENINSULA. HUNTERS HUNT ON PRIVATE PROPERTY WITHOUT PERMISSION AND THEY SHOOT ON THE WALKING TRAIL AT BLACK CREEK PROVINCIAL PARK.
