Je suis tout à fait contre la chasse à l’ours. Les populations d’ours sont de plus en plus vulnérables, les habitats naturels diminuent. Les motifs qui justifient la reprise de la chasse sont non fondés. Ce n’est tout simplement pas acceptable socialement et écologiquement de permettre ceci.

I am not in favour of the spring bear hunt as I'm sure many mother bears are killed and their cubs left to die. This is extremely inhumane and should never be allowed

I need my tax dollars to be spent protecting black bears and all Canadian wildlife. It's the best way to preserve ecosystems and the beauty that Canada is known and respected for around the world.

Please do not encourage bear trophy hunting. Bears are not a source of sustenance. The only reason to kill them is for the “fun.” Please do not allow this inhumane practice.

How about generating income for tourism and appreciating the outdoor life instead of destroying it? This is 2020, there is no reason that we need to draw economic benefits from hunting. Leave the bears alone. Humans over hunting has already done so much damage. We are destroying their homes, now you want to hunt them every spring? NO! Let the animals live. Hunt only with OVER population and INVASIVE SPECIES! Leave the bears alone and let them live.
