Please reinstate permanately the Spring bear hunt. A permanent Spring hunt is integral to the sustainability ,health and welfare of Ontarios bears. Removing mature males from the population is more effectively accomplished in Spring, and benefits greatly remaining sows and young.

I do not support a spring bear hunt in Ontario. It is unsustainable to hunt animals while they are raising young. Hunters have proven repeatedly they can't tell a sow with cubs from a sow without cubs. I am against making the spring bear hunt a permanent hunting season.

I am completely against a spring bear hunt because, as we all know, it results in orphaned cubs who usually die a slow death without their mother. It is impossible for even responsible hunters (and many are anything but responsible) to be sure that they are not killing a female animal. Lire davantage
