Seriously, you have to reconsider this appalling practise. As our lungs inhale oxygen and expel carbon dioxide, the trees inhale carbon, and expel oxygen and so must be protected.

Trees are our best defence against climate change and it makes no sense to burn them for energy as we are increasing our emissions and losing our mitigating elements all in one. The 'biomass' trend is absolutely disgusting under the guise of being renewable and needs to be stopped.

I once used a wood pellet stove for additional heat to cut back on the use of oil for heat. At one time all the pellets where I live were made from sawdust from the small lumber mills in the province I live in. Trees were not cut down for pellets, but for lumber for building. Lire davantage
