I disagree with this proposal for the following reasons: -Our current urban sprawl does not have adequate supporting infrastructure ie...public transit and sewage systems, to support it. Please do not build on the greenbelt. You promised you wouldn't before your first term and now that the developers have you in their pockets you're changing course. If it was the Liberals doing this you would be all over them. Don't be a hypocrite.

I am completely AGAINST building homes in the greenbelt area. I understand that there is a housing crisis at the moment, but taking away preserved and valuable land is not the answer. The Ford government has been ignoring the facts. Build the new homes in another part that doesn't risk so much. Lire davantage

A new highway in the greenbelt is a band-aid solution to "traffic" problems that would not exist if housing were more affordable and under control. At this time, many people can not afford to love where the work and therefore need to commute, often as a single person in a vehicle. Lire davantage

I am highly disappointed with this government for taking away land that is part of the green belt. If we continue to do so, we will have no green space left for the future citizens to enjoy. Shame on you Doug Ford!

I am appalled that Doug Ford is destroying our Greenbelt, particularly after campaigning on a promise to leave it alone. Thus is NOT the way forward. This destroys precious farmland, destroys wildlife habitat, destroys wetlands, and increases flood risk. Lire davantage
