I am a previous biker and current driver in the city. I both work and live in Toronto. Bike lanes make sense for both drivers and bikers alike. Removing bike lanes makes the streets more dangerous. I do not want to hit a biker while driving. Lire davantage

This is a colossal mistake. People will die as a result of this. It will make our streets less safe for everyone and you have absolutely no data to back up your claims that removing bike lanes will improve vehicular traffic flow. Lire davantage

The traffic lights for bicycles near Old Mill Station were unveiled literally days ago, in later October. Dismantling the infrastructure that isn't even fully finished yet is an unbelievable waste of my, taxpayer's, money. Lire davantage

Sheer stupidity. Leave the bikes lanes and all the millions of dollars spent to build them alone. Sorry, but this is not an Ontario issue. Lire davantage

Please do not remove the bike lanes on Yonge, Bloor, and University. Many people rely on those lanes to stay safe when they commute. They are among the best things that have happened to Toronto in my lifetime. Please do not remove them! Build more!

I am a resident of Toro to who uses cars, bike and public transit. I strongly oppose reducing and removing bike lanes in Toro too. Many people are no cycling and bike lanes improve safety for cyclists significantly. Use of bikes reduces car traffic. Lire davantage

Congestion on roadways is a known issue, and the issue will only get worse as the population continues to grow and travel demand continues to rise. At the same time, there is only so much space available within an existing right-of-way, and widening right-of-ways is often difficult. Lire davantage

As someone who sometimes drives in downtown Toronto, what I hate about the congestion is not the bike lanes - if anything, they help me feel safer about sharing the road with cyclists if there is a proper bike lane, especially when there are physical barriers. Lire davantage

I will gladly share the road with cars, buses, trucks AND CYCLISTS. Cyclists deserve a safe way to travel through the city that does not put them at risk. Bikes are safe, fast, healthy and add to climate change goals, prosperity and the health of.our province. Lire davantage

That is incredibly backwards. Will Ontario and Canada just be the joke of the western world?!? don’t you see there is real issue to tackle over there? Shame on ford gouvernement.

If you want to govern bike lanes, run on that platform for municipal politics. Or use Deco labels to direct traffic flows better

Under what authority, exactly, does the province purport to hold jurisdiction over municipal bike lanes? This provincial interference in city matters is completely unneeded and frankly, quite petty. Lire davantage

Ripping up bike lanes will kill cyclists. Blood will be on your hands.

This is a terrible waste of taxpayer money. Keep the bikes lanes and leave Toronto to decide what’s best for the city.

I value human life more than motorists’ convenience. The bike lanes on Yonge, Bloor and University have reduced injury and death of cyclists in Toronto without jeopardizing emergency services. Lire davantage

Doug Ford has reached a new low. This plan is I'll conceived and ignores reems of evidence in support of bike lanes in urban centres. We need bike lanes to continue to grow as a city. Lire davantage

Bike lanes save lives!!! Leave decisions to municipalities.
