Removing the bike lanes is a complete waste of taxpayer money. I live on Bloor St and the bike lanes have made the neighborhood better. There is no impact to businesses or traffic. If anything traffic improved. Lire davantage

Do not remove those bike lanes, they are vital to the city. I use the Yonge street lane to bike from Finch to Downtown.

I take these bike lanes in Toronto to work every single day. The construction on these lanes was JUST finished after months of disruptions. PLEASE do not remove them. This is such a destructive set of actions.

As a family, we are strongly against the removal of bike lanes. The removal would be a waste of taxpayer dollars that could be better served in other areas. Lire davantage

Many scientific studies have proved that separate bike lanes reduce congestion, save lives, and reduce greenhouse gases. The government of Ontario should be basing its decisions on scientific evidence. Please review this article on the topic: Lire davantage

Removing these bike lanes will make traffic worse and will harm Torontonians in the process. Ontarians do not want this. Please keep our bike lanes.

Ridiculous nonsense posturing that ignores the actual evidence. Waste of resources and money to even table this proposal. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/5c0e5848e5274a0bf3cbe124/latest-evidence-on-induced-travel-demand-an-evidence-review.pdf Lire davantage

Doug's vicious threat to remove bike lanes is going to KILL cyclists. CITIES, not the provincial government, know where bike lanes do and don't belong. Stay out of our local business, Queen's Park! Lire davantage

I oppose this regressive proposal which is nothing more than a stunt by our amateurish Premier. Stay the hell out of municipal politics, Doug.

There is extensive evidence showing that the only way to reduce traffic is by providing viable alternatives to automobile transport. Money should be spent on commuter rail improvements, high speed rail, public transportation, and bike lines. Lire davantage

Why stop at bike lanes? Get rid of parking on all major thoroughfares and create one way roadways to facilitate traffic flow (the writer says sarcastically). Lire davantage

As a resident of Toronto, I firmly support bike lanes, even when they require removal of a traffic lane. Data shows that bike lanes reduce gridlock, not cause them. Lire davantage
