This is one of the most outrageous pieces of legislation I have ever seen. First and foremost, bike lanes solve congestion. Second of all, they ensure the safety of all road users. Thirdly, this is a total overstep of municipal jurisdiction that the province has no business being involved in. Lire davantage

This is the dumbest freakin idea in the world. What the heck is wrong with you people? I can't believe my tax dollars pay the salaries of you numb nuts. I did not vote for this. Ontario? More like onterrible on the backs of you idiotic politicians.

This bill is not helpful to non-Toronto Ontarians, nor is it helpful to those of us who live in Toronto. The city JUST spent a whole lot of money to establish these bike lanes. What a waste of resources to go back and tear them all up. Lire davantage

Bike lanes are a good thing and ripping them out is a waste of money. Shame on you all!

Please remove bike lanes on Yonge! Emergency vehicles cannot get through. Traffic is bumper to bumper. I have only ever seen a few cyclists using them whereas there is a solid line up of cars as far as the eye can see. Lire davantage

Dear Mr. Ford, when did my life become less valuable than yours? I live and ride in the city of Toronto. I pay taxes. I have the right to be on the road and it should be safe. And you want to take that away. Dufferin Street, Keele Street - there are no bike lanes yet they are bumper to bumper. Lire davantage

It’s is completely irresponsible how Premier Ford is caving to the whims of vocal monitory. And overreaching his power to municipalities. Bike lanes save lives, and his actions will cost real lives of people

1. Adding more lanes doesn't reduce traffic. It encourages more people to drive, and streets remain just as congested as before. It's called "induced demand." 2. Cycling is good for people's health. Public transit is good for the environment. Stop moving backwards. Lire davantage

I strongly oppose the proposed removal of bike lanes on Bloor Street, Yonge Street, and University Avenue. Removing these essential lanes is a significant step backward that threatens road safety, worsens traffic congestion, and degrades air quality. Lire davantage

Bike lanes, like those on Bloor/Danforth, Yonge & University in Toronto, are vital for cities to thrive. Lire davantage

Studies have shown that increasing traffic and highways only increases traffic and gridlock. The way to reduce gridlock is to increase highly effective public transit and alternative transportation, like bikes. Lire davantage

I am an Ottawa resident who lives in Kingston for the school year while I attend Queen's. I say this because I felt betrayed when I was informed about this proposed policy. This policy is regression at its finest, as bike lanes are vital to any community or city. Lire davantage

I am unsure how this legislation simultaneously claims that "accidents ... can worsen traffic congestion" while proposing the removal of infrastructure proven to reduce collisions. Lire davantage

Don't remove bike lanes. Any of them. In fact, build more bike lanes. Lots of them. All over Ontario. Have your team do some work for once and look up the research/data then send it to you. Maybe you should also not ignore it when they do... Bike lanes = good. End of story. Lire davantage

Imagine the silly amount of construction required to remove the bike lanes that were just installed. Months and months of the worst congestion we will have ever seen. Lire davantage

Last time I checked, cyclists were also people, just like drivers. Making biking safer and more convenient reduces gridlock rather than adding to it. Lire davantage
