I gave up having a car more than 11 years ago, after I no longer had kids at home. I live in the West end and bike or walk virtually everywhere, only occasionally taking the TTC. The bike lane infrastructure is so important for safety. Lire davantage

I am a resident of Toronto (growing up in GYA suburbs), car driver (who commutes by car within the city), and recreational cyclist. This bill is short cited, a waste of tax payer money, not efficient, and worst of all does not solve the problem that is the title of this bill. Lire davantage

Taking out bike lanes is a bad move—it puts lives at risk and ignores the fact that roads are for everyone, not just cars. Why is the province stepping in here? Lire davantage

I hope that MOT will have the Yonge street Bike Lanes gone before Christmas 2024. This would bring us back our streets before the holidays. A true gift. Even Santa might give his reindeer’s a rest. THANK YOU. Ford has done us a huge favour 🎄

As a resident of Downtown Toronto I want transit option that work for me. This means that I want bike lanes so I can safely get to work or take my kids to their activities. Driving downtown Toronto is no longer a primary option, we have transit, bicycles and walking. Lire davantage

This is a great waste of taxpayers money. As a historic conservative voter I am outraged at this nonsensical direction.

Bike lanes save lives and are a critical piece of public infrastructure. More car lanes will not decrease congestion. I’m ashamed that I voted for ford last election. It will not happen again.

I am all for this! Cars idling in traffic is not helping with air quality. This bill is long over due.

1) Why is the government wasting its time on this matter, when health care, education, transportation and home building are all struggling? 2) How will this improve gridlock? 3) How will this improve public safety, of both cyclists and drivers? 4) How will this decrease pollution? Lire davantage

Take a drive around the city and you’ll realize that the number one driver of congestion in Toronto is construction. The lack of coordinated planning around construction in Toronto is the biggest culprit. Lire davantage

I use the Bloor bike lane to commute to work and transport my child because I can't, and likely never will be able to afford a car. I also believe in the value of a space and time efficient method of transport that doesn't cost money. Lire davantage

I strongly disagree with this and will be protesting it every day until this law is repealed. This is not evidence based policy, this is pure political engineering. When you politicise my commute, you politicise me. See you in the streets.

Removing bike lanes in downtown Toronto will not help congestion and May lead to the death of cyclists and pedestrians. Cyclists are tax payers too.
