Commercial driver here with 20+ years on the road. Tearing up bike lanes is not just a waste of $, it’s not going to help. It’ll put cyclists back into live traffic lanes and what do you plan to do with parked cars? Lire davantage

This bill being passed just shows that our leadership is completely out of touch with the needs of its society and that they don’t prioritize our wellbeing and standard of living at all. Bike lanes are crucial as one of the only reliable means of transit. Lire davantage

Ford needs to stay in his lane - what does this have to do with running Ontario? Why is he so focused on the City of Toronto? Lire davantage

Dedicated bike lanes enhance the safety of commuters who do not drive motorvehicles - not everyone who needs to go somewhere in Toronto necessarily drives a car. Many cannot afford one, or they are students who are too young to drive independently. Lire davantage

The province has no business butting into municipal decisions around bike lanes.

I do not agree with the removal of the bike lanes or the further destruction to toronto and ontario at large by the ford government

I wholeheartedly disagree with this Bill, speaking as someone who has lived in both larger cities (Hamilton) and smaller cities. (Welland, Beamsville) Bike lanes allow people to utilize a healthy alternative mode of transportation in a safe manner. Lire davantage

I do not support this retrograde proposed regulation for the following reasons: 1. Requiring municipalities to get provincial approval for bike lanes in some cases is an overreach of provincial power and increases the bureaucracy and red tape to build municipal infrastructure. Lire davantage

I oppose this bill! Why does Ontario have such a specific say in the city planning of Toronto? Bloor St is not bringing broadbrand to the north. Lire davantage

Do not remove bike lanes. We know you are doing this as a political ploy to win votes from suburban commuters, and it's completely unethical. If you want specific comments for why this should not happen: Lire davantage

THANK YOU!! Thank you so much for getting rid of the nonsense unnecessary bike lanes that clog our streets and increase traffic. Just because some voices are louder doesn’t mean they are right - thank you for doing the right thing despite the woke people pushing back.

I live just off Yonge street between Crescent and St Clair. I have mobility issues, so walking or biking is not an option for me. I have to drive. The current situation is ridiculous. Lire davantage

The Ford government should keep their noses out of Toronto's bike lanes. Ford isn't the Mayor of Toronto. Tearing the bike lanes up is a waste of tax payers' money, not to mention a waste of all the money (and time) spent on bike lane planning. Lire davantage

Bike lanes should not be on major arteries. Traffic is paralyzing the city needlessly and causing excessive pollution. They are underused and in a country with winters as long as we have that will not change. Remove bike lanes from main roadways, keep them on side streets. Thank you.

Removing bike lanes from the main thoroughfares throughout Toronto will lead to increased injuries and deaths for cyclists. That will be on the Ontario government. Lire davantage

Bike lines are for the Mayor of Toronto and Toronto’s MPs to manage. We do not need provincial government input. Removing them will put bikers and drivers lives in danger and slow down congestion because drivers will need to wait for bikes in their lane.

I strongly oppose the removal of bike lanes on Bloor, Yonge, and University. Reversing this municipal decision is not only a power overreach, it is a waste of time and money, and it disregards the best interests of the municipality. Lire davantage
