As a commuter who has only ever ridden his bike to work in the past 25 years I am opposed to the removal of our bike lanes. Lire davantage

As a resident of Etobicoke-Lakeshore, I feel betrayed by my MPP Christine Hogarth and Premier Doug Ford. Bill 212 is a regressive plan to double-down on car-centric planning, something that directly contradict's the Province's own climate and planning goals. Lire davantage

We need more bike lanes, more walkable streets, more focus on accessibility and creating a living city. We should consider pedestrianizing much of downtown.

Dense Urban areas need to address the needs of mobility. Mobility isn't just a personal passenger vehicle for drivers. More PROTECTED bike lanes = more choice for safer, and quicker mobility for all.

The proposal to remove bike lanes is deeply flawed and wasteful. It shows a clear disregard for taxpayers and fails to address the real issues affecting workers and businesses. Lire davantage

I oppose the removal of bike lanes in the city of Toronto. The only way to alleviate congestion is to offer alternatives to driving. Lire davantage

There are white ghost bike memorials throughout downtown for bikers lives lost. Without bike lanes there will be more interactions with cars, more accidents, more deaths, more memorials. This will be on Ford.

I am registering my strong disagreement with this proposal. At a time when we should be facilitating decreased use of cars to decrease traffic congestion, improve air quality and decrease dependence on fossil fuels, this proposal is retrogressive and represents a step backward. Lire davantage

Please do not remove these bike lines! They are integral to many people in this city's ability to get around quickly and safely.

This is a disgraceful and repugnant oversteppin of provincial authority. Bike lane and bikes contribute to environmental sustainability, which car lanes and cars do not. Cars and their drivers are the ones causing the congestion and gridlock. Lire davantage

I am writing to express my outrage at Bill 212’s petty, ignorant, and irresponsible assault on existing and future bike lanes in Ontario. The Province must keep its hands off municipalities’ bike lanes because: Lire davantage

The decision to remove the bike lanes from Toronto downtown has no rational support 1) the return to vehicles will congest more the downtown 2) the cost of removing them is a waste of tax payers 3)environment will be affected with larger amounts of traffic Lire davantage

Please do not go ahead with this bill. It goes contrary to all the evidence that shows that bike lanes do NOT contribute to motor vehicle congestion. Lire davantage

I believe the provincial government should be a leader in other modes of urban transportation that does not include personal vehicles. Why are we moving backwards in Ontario? We need more bike lanes, not less! Lire davantage
