I'm opposed to sport hunting from an ethical standpoint in general, but if sport hunting must be allowed, then I feel it should happen out in the wild, where wild animals have a chance of escape. Read more

This is a cruel practice and one that is entirely inhumane and unnecessary in our environment. Please do not allow it to continue or approve the extension of the dog train and trail licensing with live wildlife. Read more

I am appalled at, and strongly oppose, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry’s proposal to allow new licenses, and the transfer of existing licenses, for dog train and trial areas in Ontario. These facilities should not exist at all and to propose that they be expanded is atrocious. Read more

I absolutely reject and shame the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry’s proposal to allow new licenses and the transfer of licenses for train and trial areas in Ontario. It is a massive step backwards from the provisions put in place 25 years ago. Read more

This proposal is cruel and unethical. The fact that this has even been brought up is pathetic. Are you people serious? You can't just kidnap wildlife and subject it to this kind of treatment. That's insane. Read more

This is already illegal in canada and most if the United States. Prnn hunting is widely condemned, controversial and causes extreme and unnecessary stress, suffering and death to wild animals. While posing threats to public health and safety at the same time. It needs to stay banned!

This is ridiculous, unnecessary, cruel and likely dangerous in the long run. ‘Ontario has the best animal welfare in Canada’ says Doug Ford. Doesn’t this run counter to his already pathetically hollow words? Read more

Training and Trialing using Captive Coyotes This concerns the reported plan of the Ontario government to increase the number of licences for “training and trialing” enclosures where dogs learn to hunt coyotes. Read more

Why are you asking the public to support this evil? Penned dog hunting facilities are cruel to the wild animals that are subjected to various methods used to train dogs to hunt. BESIDES, ONTARIO SHOULD FINALLY JOIN OTHER JURISDICTIONS THAT HAVE BANNED HUNTING WITH DOGS! Read more

This is an apauling proposal and needs to be reversed. Ontario's wildlife is already under extreme manmade threat, to open more of these facilities is inhumane. We should be putting strict regulation to preserve as much of our wildlife and natural environments as possible.

This practice is not ecologically or morally sound. Wildlife should not be held captive and land should not be blocked to the passage of animals whose territory is already encroached on. Refuse the proposal. No new training grounds.
