Why is the planet doomed? It’s doomed because of politicians and their big money friends making deals! We can not survive buy destroying wild places any longer! Protection of land like this, is protection for our children’s future. This has nothing to to with lack of housing. Read more

I am a retired land use planner with over 4 decades of experience as a planner both at the Provincial level and as a consultant to developers and to local municipalities. I am shocked at many elements of this Bill. It is land use planning and densification by target numbers. At what cost? Read more

Established Green Space must be kept and not used for construction of homes or commercial building. Convert non-fertile unusable rocky land for construction projects and build more rail transport for commuting, which will help save our environment. Read more

The Greenbelt MUST be protected! Our ecosystem is so interconnected and weather is getting more intense. Without the green space to absorb water from torrential storms and carbon dioxide from industrial activity, not to mention land to grow food, we will be in dire straits. Read more
