Bike infrastructure saves lives. This law would make me less safe. I will never vote for a government that puts my life at risk by blocking infrastructure meant to protect me. Read more

As a cyclist in downtown Toronto who uses bike lanes everyday this bill would be devastating. Every single day I see the bike lanes in use, people commuting to work, going grocery shopping, food delivery workers doing their job. Read more

Very unhappy with this proposal. As a driver, I have come to like bike lanes. They have their part of the road and I have mine. This makes driving much easier and safer for drivers and cyclists Read more

I object and disappointed in this bil 212. I should not be passed. As a driver, cycist, walker and homeowner, this proposed bill impacts me, and more more importantly, Ontarians in negative manners. First and foremost, transportation infrastructures are for all Ontarians, not just motorist. Read more

The removal of bike lanes and restriction on future bike lane development is not only unnecessary but also puts Ontario and Toronto residents in danger and limits our ability to grow as a vibrant, connected, and environmentally responsible province and city. Read more

This framework only discusses how motor vehicles get around the city. What does the province propose for those who do not drive cars to get around the city? What options are being proposed for improved transit or other cycling infrastructure to replace the infrastructure that it plans to tear down? Read more

I’ve lived in the Annex for over 15 years, and I drive & cycle. I live right on Bloor Street so am witness to the direct impacts of bikes lanes in the city. I commute to work every day (to Etobicoke) and I also cycle on weekends and weeknights. Read more

This policy (specifically the removal of bike lanes) is flabbergastingly dumb. This decision will directly lead to cyclist fatalities, and INCREASED traffic! Do you really think getting more people into cars is going to reduce traffic?! Read more

- The public consultation is a mockery if supporting material can only be viewed in person. - The overiding of municipal planning processes is anti-democratic and very heavy handed. Read more

I am against removing bike lanes in Toronto. This will not help gridlock, and could make it worse. Having fewer people on bikes means more people in cars, which means more people driving, and increased traffic. Read more

Removing the bike lanes puts lives in danger, adds to congestion, and generally would make this city even more unliveable. I beg you to please save these bike lanes. They are an integral service to this City.

Removing bike lanes in Toronto under Doug Ford's government would be a significant setback for several reasons: 1. **Environmental Impact**: Eliminating bike lanes goes against Canada's climate goals, increasing car dependency, emissions, and air pollution. Read more

I strongly oppose this proposal as a resident of Toronto. I think it makes no sense to add red tape and bureaucracy that slows down municipal governments from increasing transportation options. Read more
