There is not enough information here to make an informed decision. CSOs have been an ongoing issue for Lake Ontario's water quality, particular at the outflow point. How would construction of a new CSO pipeline affect local water quality? How will affect the terrestrial zone of construction? Read more

I’m a resident who uses the water in the area for paddle boarding and other water sports. The sewage will spill into a key area that’s used widely by numerous water spots users. This is a major health concern, hazard and should not occur. Read more

As an Ontario resident living close to Toronto, I OPPOSE this proposal. There isn’t enough time and information for us to properly, thoroughly consider this proposal. The City of Toronto already has plans to update sewage disposal and routes. Read more

I strongly object to this plan. Lake Ontario is a beautiful natural gem used for swimming, boating and other recreational activities. To dump raw sewage directly into our clean water is an absolute travesty!! Find another plan that doesn't despoil our natural resources!

We need more research and details on this decision, as the consequences of this move means fresh, clean water, including habitats for live animals could be permanently destroyed, not to mention the impact on human use of the channel. We need more details. We need more research. Read more
