I oppose the repeal of the Endangered Species Act. I want strong, science based protection for Ontario's species at risk, especially the piping plover that was once extirpated from Ontario's lakeshores in the past. I oppose shortcuts for the benefit of developers.

Ignoring the natural habitats of endangered species, or even declining populations of others, is a dangerous procedure because of the delicate balance of ecosystems. Humans need the green foliage and wildlife to balance our own systems, of mental health as well. Read more

I oppose Bill 5, and I demand stronger protections for endangered species. I oppose short cuts for industry with no public oversight. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones. I am completely against Bill 5, and I think it is a heinous crime against nature and the environment. Read more

I'm really irritated to hear that the Ford government is planning on overriding our laws including the endangered species act of 2007 so he can build And what he calls special economic zones that probably only benefit a few. We have these laws in place for a reason. Read more

Every time the Fords eye the Greenbelt, a shudder of revulsion races down my spine. This time is no different. Local ecosystems have already suffered so much that wildlife are fleeing into residential areas for lack of resources and territories. Read more

This is not what Canada Stands for and is a direct attack on our environment and the land that protects endangered species and the quality of life of Canadians. I do not agree with this proposal and would be devestated if this were to pass. Protect Canadians and the land we live on.
