Keep your own garbage Toronto in your own green spaces as our waters do not need your toxic waste. Our great lakes are to important an your dump will just flow through our rivets to the lake. Please keep your own waste as no one out here wants it.

I do not think this proposal is in the best interests of our natural heritage and the plant and animal life involved. Urban sprawl is displacing the habitat of plants, animals, insects, birds, and others. Read more

I oppose this proposal. Having an environmental assessment is paramount for this situation given the close proximity of the landfill to town. Standard guidelines for landfills is 3.5km from a community and this project is less than ONE km from a town with a population of 2700. Read more

I strongly oppose the removal of environmental assessment requirements for this project. The location is close to the river and the environmental assessment requirements exist for a reason — to protect this river, the species that make it home, and the humans who live nearby. Read more

I am terribly disappointed that the government has removed the EA requirements from the Dresden Landfill site. I hope that Doug Ford keeps his promise that if the people don’t want it it won’t happen.

The proposed landfill site that the government wishes to do is right at a core location in Dresden, near waterways and other residential people Why aren’t landfill sites located in remote locations so that the impact on residential communities aren’t affected? Read more
