This is a gross NIMBY initiative for the benefit of a private corporation. The MZO would be completely inappropriate in this case. The government should not be in the business of rewarding NIMBY demands of a corporation, especially when that would restrict construction of 1,000 new homes. Read more

Obviously it does not make any sense to stop new apartment buildings when there are already apartment buildings and houses around this industrial plant. Don't let big pharma get its way, bullying and threatening its way through our government and planning procedures.
