Permit to Take No. P-300-8246182177 was issued to 1441198 Ontario Inc. on March 14, 2024, to renew Permit No. 2840-9CPR3A. Water will be taken from one well for golf course irrigation purposes for 10 years.

On February 28, 2024, Ontario filed the regulatory amendments to O. Reg. 160/99 and O. Reg. 610/98 under the Electricity Act, 1998 to streamline the regulatory framework related to the appointments of directors to the Independent Electricity System Operator’s (IESO) board and to provide clarity on conflicts of interest rules.

The Ministry issued an Environmental Compliance Approval to GFL Environmental Inc. for their 84 Smelter Road, Sudbury, Ontario. This approval approves an increase in storage capacity for subject wastes, bulking and mixing activities, and the on-site use of a mobile unit for the processing of liquid wastes.

The company withdrew this application on December 7, 2021, and no approval was issued.

We issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site) to Draglam Waste & Recycling Inc. for the operation of a solid non-hazardous construction and demolition waste transfer station, located at 19 Delta Park Boulevard in the City of Brampton, Ontario.

We approved an amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval (a waste disposal site) No. A042107 issued to Waste Connections of Canada Inc. for a 3.16 hectares solid non-hazardous waste transfer and processing facility, located at 4645 Wellington Road South in London, Ontario.

The proposal notice was posted in error. The comment period on this notice has been closed. The correct proposal was posted under ERO #019-7650. This notice is being updated on March 13, 2024 to advise the public that the proposal details have been changed to correctly reflect the proposed activities listed in the permit application.
