In responding to the preparation of a climate change plan, Ontario government carries out Bill 4 to wind down the cap and trade program. Cap and trade program are certainly not the only policy that Ontario government can use to reduce GHGs (greenhouse gases) emissions. Read more

The passing of Bill 4 will be detrimental to the well-being of the residents of Ontario for generations. Global warming is already causing extreme weather events such as wildfires, flooding and crop damage in Ontario and this will only get worse. Read more

The proposal to Cancel the Cap and Trade Act without public consultation is abysmal behaviour on the part of the current government. The fact that the premier feels it critical to campaign in other provinces to push this agenda is also very disturbing. Read more

As a citizen of Ontario and of this planet, I consider the abandoning of the most significant effort to curb GHGs a most regrettable foolhardy shortsighted move and cannot fully comprehend the level of hubris that has led this government to get to this point. Read more
