First and foremost, this type of consultation should have been conducted BEFORE any bill was presented to the legislature for review. Consultation of citizens is an important and vital part of our Ontario democracy and should not be ignored for the sake of squeezing this bill through quickly. Read more

Climate change is a hugely important issue. One very effective way of dealing with this issue is to put a price on carbon and other forms of pollution. This is a very natural and logical approach. After all, pollution costs all of us---we all share the same air, water, and environment. Read more

I want Ontario to put a price on pollution, making polluters pay for their emissions and returning the revenues to the pockets of Ontarians so they can lower their carbon footprint. I want legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement.

I've lived in Ontario all my life; I'm 53 years' old. Climate change is real and needs to be addressed NOW - before it's too late. Some scientists are warning that if we don't do something within the next 20 years or before, we're doomed. Read more

Not supporting a carbon tax or cap and trade is a short sighted expensive policy that defeats the possibility of Ontario as an future provider of high demand environmental and energy solutions. Do not opt out or Ontario will lose control of the inevitable! Much money and potential wasted.

Care for the environment is like our universal health care. We need it to be healthy as individuals and as a nation. Please work towards cleaner air and fewer carbon emissions by all means possible, both now and for the future.cap and Trade is a good plan and we need it across the country.
