Given the recent UN report clearly and exhaustively outlining the detrimental impacts of climate change it is wildly irresponsible to scrap a program that actively worked to address carbon emissions while generating funds for public transit and other climate responsible infrastructure. Read more

Climate change is the biggest challenge facing us today and as the most populous province in Canada, Ontario has a duty and responsibility to do everything possible to reduce carbon emissions and transition to renewable and sustainable energy. Closing our eyes will not make the problem go away. Read more

In view of the recent United Nations intergovernmental report on climate change, it is irresponsible for the Ontario government to cancel the Cap and Trade Program in Ontario. Cap and trade has significantly reduced carbon emissions in British Columbia and other jurisdictions. Read more

We need to take drastic measures and do what is required to save our planet. This year has been a record breaking year of natural disasters all over the world. Wildfires, hurricanes, mudslides, erupting of a volcano and others have been more devastating and lasted longer than before. Read more

Cancelling this would be yet another painfully short sighted move on the concervatives part. The liberals got alot wrong, I get that. But this crusade to undo everything they did is foolhardy. Especially with the lack of planning that has been continually demonstrated. Pollution helps no one. Read more

I am requesting that you do not cancel cap and trade and not pass bill 4. The urgency of Climate change is a consideration that I hope the government will take into account. A Nobel prize winning scientist has said that one proven way of lowering CO2 emissions is by placing a price on carbon. Read more
