Please, please, please reconsider. Let’s put Canada at the forefront of measures to combat climate change.
Let’s be global leaders advocating for clean air, clean water, clean lands.
I am mightily disappointed in the Conservative Party's Trump-like disregard for the environment, public health, and humanity in general. I never thought I'd see Alt.Right-ism in Canada, yet Ford is the glaring example that it has arrived.
Given the recent UN report clearly and exhaustively outlining the detrimental impacts of climate change it is wildly irresponsible to scrap a program that actively worked to address carbon emissions while generating funds for public transit and other climate responsible infrastructure.

Climate change is the biggest challenge facing us today and as the most populous province in Canada, Ontario has a duty and responsibility to do everything possible to reduce carbon emissions and transition to renewable and sustainable energy. Closing our eyes will not make the problem go away.

Cancelling cap-and-trade is wildly irresponsible in light of the recent IPCC report about climate change. We need action now, not further delay that we can't afford.
Please do everything we can to help the environment. Now, we cannot delay action as scientists have proven our situation is in desperate shape. Our politicians need to put plans together NOT dismantle them.

Phasing out the carbon economy is the only way to save the planet for future generations.Eliminating cap and trade is an indication of psychotic behaviour that requires immediate medical attention.
In view of the recent United Nations intergovernmental report on climate change, it is irresponsible for the Ontario government to cancel the Cap and Trade Program in Ontario. Cap and trade has significantly reduced carbon emissions in British Columbia and other jurisdictions.

We need to take drastic measures and do what is required to save our planet. This year has been a record breaking year of natural disasters all over the world. Wildfires, hurricanes, mudslides, erupting of a volcano and others have been more devastating and lasted longer than before.

Cancelling this would be yet another painfully short sighted move on the concervatives part. The liberals got alot wrong, I get that. But this crusade to undo everything they did is foolhardy. Especially with the lack of planning that has been continually demonstrated. Pollution helps no one.

I am requesting that you do not cancel cap and trade and not pass bill 4. The urgency of Climate change is a consideration that I hope the government will take into account. A Nobel prize winning scientist has said that one proven way of lowering CO2 emissions is by placing a price on carbon.
