It appears to me that the purpose of this proposed Act is to wind down our existing climate change plan. What I don't see is what will be replacing it. Climate change is happening NOW. Hurricane Michael, which just landed on the Florida coast is the worst storm in 50 years! Read more

I want a real climate change plan to reduce emissions, help people save energy and create jobs in the $26 trillion clean economies. I want Ontario to end subsidies and handouts for fossil fuel companies and redirect this money to clean energy solutions.

I do not think the current Cap and Trade system should be cancelled at all. Cap and Trade is an effective method for reducing green house gas emissions, and Canada has made commitments through various agreements to do the best it can at reducing such emissions. Read more

As a taxpayer, I am appalled that the Provincial Government is trying to repeal legislation that holds industry to account for the costs of their contributions to greenhouse gasses. Without the money from the cap and trade program, the taxpayers will be on the hook for these expenses. Read more
