Man made climate change is the most significant issue our society faces today. While cap and trade may only be a first step towards addressing this issue, it is nevertheless a first and significant measure. Cancelling the program seems, therefore, incredibly irresponsible. Read more

Addressing climate change by reducing carbon emissions is a urgent priority for Ontario. Every day delayed is a day wasted. Repealing the cap and trade program without a better solution in place is an embarrassing display of mindless partisanship. Read more

Climate change is the greatest threat to humanity in these coming years. You are the second greatest to ontarians, Mr. Ford. It has increased the severity and frequency of deadly natural disasters. Pollution kills people the world over not just in extreme weather but poorer air quality. Read more

As an Ontario citizen and voter, I support continuing with the Cap and Trade program. Emissions from heating buildings and emissions from vehicles must be reduced in order to have a world that does not endanger the health of future generations. Read more

I disagree with the movement by the Conservative government to back track on many of the environmental acts that had been instituted by the previous government. There are numerous positive repercussions for our economy, the world and our children if we keep these environmental policies intact. Read more
