WEAKENING OF BAN ON LAWN AND GARDEN PESTICIDES: I am thoroughly disgusted by this proposal. Current legislation states that:
“Class 9 pesticides are banned for cosmetic purposes because they may pose an unnecessary risk to human health, particularly children’s health.”

Thirty days is not enough time to review major changes to law. One big change that I don't think is appropriate is regarding Section 14(1) of the Environmental Protection Act where may will be replaced with likely. This is a fundamental change and should not occur.

The bill reduces enforcement and penalties of environmental regulations in the name of development. Any developments should not go environmentally unchecked, that is the purpose of current environmental regulations.
