This is irresponsible use of land. When Ford was running for office he made proposals to open up the green belt and the morraine and quickly backtracked on that, publicly, in order to gain votes. Most Ontarians saw this as a bad idea and still do see this as a bad idea. Read more

This type of proposal is totally inappropriate. The approval to dispose of industrial waste in close proximity to a ground water source places all of us at risk. The potential contamination cannot be remediated. The original intent was to return the property to it's natural state. Read more

The constant and long history of non compliance needs to stop. Miller does not need another site more than we need water. Our environment is more important than ever as we continue to destroy this beautiful planet, it will be small decisions like this that end up making the big difference. Read more

Under the terms of the application the licensee is wishing to change the use of the Miller Boyington Pit #3 property to include the construction of a large (10,000 sq. ft.) building and approval for a large equipment storage yard. Read more

To Whom It May Concern: The Miller site as operated today is already violating the permitted uses under the ARA and ORMCP/A, 2017 by having installed an illegal contractor’s yard, bringing fill to the site and operating an Asphalt plant for which crushed concrete is trucked in. Read more

Definitely not a good idea. Look at Miller's past record and you will see that they don't always follow through with all their promises and obligations. Let's not reward them by giving them more power to alter our environment. Read more

Some members of the Uxbridge Town Council have suggested that the large-scale importation of fill into the Miller Boyington Pit #3 (approximately 1,000,000 cu. m.) will generate a new revenue stream for the town. Read more
