I live beside the Boyington pit#3. I think that the application should not be approved because if approved the miller group would be able to dump potentially contaminated fill into a vital water supply. This would impact not only the surrounding neighbourhood but the whole town of Uxbridge. Read more

As our property is within site of the Miller property, I am very concerned about the following ; A- the impact on the ground water from the dumping of soil on the site. There is no way to guarantee that contaminated soil will not enter the fill. Read more

This is an inappropriate and incredibly risky use of town resources and land. The benefit is solely to the corporation and will only disadvantage and potentially endanger residents. There is no way this can be seen as a positive change. Read more

I object to this because putting fill on top of the Oak Ridges Moraine is detrimental to the water table of the immediate area and surroundings. Also how can you allow building on the Oak Ridges Moraine since the moratorium was placed on the moraine to prevent any constructions.

We have lived a couple of miles from the Miller pit for the last 38 years and have woken up to the smell of asphalt many mornings from this pit. We had friends who lived on the 17th were greatly affected by this on their health and had to eventually move. Read more

I am very concerned about the proposed change to be a permanent asphalt plant site under township oversight. I don't believe the township has the technical ability or resources to oversee or manage an operation of this size. The MNRF has more knowledge and rules to control all of these emissions. Read more
