Yes I agree with the opening bow season during CDH in southern Ontario. As the expansion of cities a lot of municipalities have bow hunting only so that puts me and others in a position where we cannot hunt during some of the best times of the year. So yes to bow hunting during CDH

I welcome the "Proposal to simplify and align provincial white-tailed deer hunting seasons." I hunt in WMU 59. It would be nice if the gun season would open on a Saturday in order to give 3 weekends of hunting. Like Quebec does. Read more

PROPSALS FOR 83 B and 83 C. as proposed in item #10 This regulation amendment regarding #10 is flawed, biased and not based on fact. It proposes to give the islands of Hay and Griffiths , an earlier rifle season. Why? Read more

Shift the gun season a week later. Ruts and colder temperatures have shifted later in the season. Also extend the gun season for a full week. 2 weekend days including the week. It opens hunting up to more new hunters and an extra weekend in The colder weather.

The proposal to simplify and align provincial white-tailed deer hunting seasons is a welcomed proposal, with the exception of the addition of bow-hunting opportunities during the controlled deer hunting seasons, primarily in Southern Ontario. Read more

I believe all wmu’s should have muzzle loader season where there is a riffle season as it would spread out hunter in the bush. I hunted area wmu 39 but had to move as there where to many hunters in the area but if there would be a muzzle loader season I could potentially take advantage of that.

I was quite pleased to see Proposal #9 (Archery season for deer in WMU 45). I've bow hunted in WMU 45 for the past 30 years. I was very disappointed when years ago, the bow season closed for the week before rifle season. Read more

With regard to proposition #2 to allow bow hunting during the CDH, although the wearing of hunter orange is required, I am concerned for the safety of bow hunters and the additional potential conflicts when a CDH passes by a bow hunter. Read more

While you are at making changes, why not unify all WMUs into allowing both muzzleloaders and shotguns during the controlled hunt seasons? Some WMUs, such as 92D are muzzleloading only during the controlled hunts, yet one can step "across the road" (near a boundary) and use a shotgun. Read more

I like the idea of being able to bow hunt during the fun season. It gives more opportunities for the bow hunters which is more of a challenge to harvest a tag. Let’s let this happen I also believe WMU 91/ 92 should be allowed during the gun season as well. Thanks
