Yes finally we should be able to pick our bows over a shot gun or muzzle loader while a controlled hunt as long as we have the permit to do so. I am a land owner of over 50 acres and I preferer to use a bow over a gun. Read more

I would love to see this pass because some of the land owners where I hunt don't allow gun hunting at all. I am generally missing the peak of the rut on those properties. I am all for safely hunting and am more than Willing to wear hunter orange while bow hunting.

Do not agree with including bows into controlled season such as in 87D. Bow seasons are long enough. With 90% or more of hunters using cross bows during the bow only season, there should be a shorter season for crossbows, than for compound or traditional bow hunters. Read more

It seems completely unfair to change the policies for muzzleloader and exclude 2 WMU’s. Makes you wonder who is lobbying to exclude 91 & 92. Just makes the rules the same for all muzzleloader WMU’s. If the plan is to simplify, equal is simple. Thanks

From what I’ve seen in 82a the populations are definitely low and have been declining for the past 5 years pretty steady. I don’t think it’s a good idea to add another day of rifle season. Should likely hold back the additional archery tags for 3 or 4 years as well…

I believe that myself and many other hunters would benefit from allowing bows to be used during controlled hunts in zone 92. Due to challenges to get time off work and planning with family & friends, this would simplify hunting of whitetail deer in my zone of 92. Thank you.

Please allow bow hunting during the controlled deer gun season in WM 91 and 92. I am a hunter who hunts deer primarily in WM 92 and its becoming increasingly difficult to hunt bow during the prime of the deer rut with a bow because of the 3 gun seasons.

I believe there needs to be increased regulations with regards to pushing bush during the December controlled hunt, it’s unethical and wreckless to surrounding properties and the amount of trespassing the happens every year is sickening. Read more

I have been hunting White Tailed Deer for over 65 years in the same area #52 and have noticed that in the last 8 years plus we have not had a rut occur during the two week hunting season as the weather is consistently too warm. Read more

My proposal: I would like to see the opening of deer season start on October 1 to December 31 in WMU 65. Not open for 4 days and shutdown until October 15. Also the week of muzzleloader in December for deer, to include shotguns during the same week also in WMU 65. Thank you.
