My comments pertain to the additional day (Sunday) of gun hunting in WMU 84 and allowing bow hunting during the gun hunting seasons for whitetail deer. I am both a bow and gun hunter and greatly support the proposals by the Ministry. Read more

Can you explain the criteria used to establish what MNU’s would be included in this proposed controlled deer hunt seasons changes? There are far more MNU’s that have controlled deer hun seasons than are included in this proposal. Read more

On the whole, I and most other hunters agree with simplifying and aligning the hunting seasons thereby making it easier for the CO's to police the season(s) and also to make it easier for hunters to remember the appropriate hunting seasons. Read more

I totally disagree with this decision to exclude wmu 92 from the archery during firearm season proposal - unfair and seems like rules are being made to fit someone’s agenda…who’s personal gain does this benefit? Who makes these decisions? Read more

#2 I’m concerned about bow hunters being able to hunt durning gun season even if they wear hunter orange as gun hunters are required. First, bow hunter have exclusive time to hunt deer from Sept thru to Dec 31, except for two weeks during gun season. Read more

I agree with the idea of uniform regulations for deer hunting in Ontario therefore the London area should allow bow hunters to hunt during the gun season, just like it is in the rest of Ontario. It would really be interesting to know who or what organization is opposing this idea.

It is great to streamline rules and regulations for the Deer hunting Season. Confused on why 91 & 92 we overlooked/not included? There is no ecological or safety reason why they shouldn't be included in this proposal. I own 250 acres and I'm not aloud to hunt on my own property for 3 weeks. Read more

I am STRONGLY OPPOSED to Proposal #2 - including bow hunting during the controlled hunts. The controlled hunts are "Controlled Hunter Numbers" with limits on the number of hunters allowed in the field during these seasons. Read more
