Please keep in mind that the large urban boundary expansion being proposed in Smithville would have too many negative impacts on the sensitive Twenty Mile Creek. As a birdwatcher, I know that many sensitive and rare bird species use this habitat regularly. Read more

I strongly disagree with the proposed Employment 'Area' designation in Port Weller lands currently within the Urban Boundary of St. Catharines as this land has been designated Employment 'Land' for over 50 years with no interest shown at all!!!! Read more

The properties at 1287, 1301 & 1313 Niagara Stone Road, Virgil, should be designated for residential uses rather than employment uses. Firstly, the Town does not have sufficient residential lands to accommodate population forecasts. A residential designation would add to inventory. Read more

Protect our agricultural base - lord knows we need it now more than ever, but help create and fast track much needed housing supply in surrounding lands. Perhaps consider high density forms of housing opposed to large estate style developments in order to accomodate entry level and downsizers.
