We write to request that the Province amend Schedule G of the Niagara Region Official Plan to remove the Employment Area (specifically Dynamic Employment Area designation) from 9015 Stanley Avenue, Niagara Falls and designate these lands as Urban Area.

1. The natural heritage policies adopted by the Region should NOT be approved by the Ministry. All OPA's across Ontario should only contain the provincial minimum standards prescribed by the province. These standards have been professionally developed over time.

Niagara needs more housing, now. This has to be a priority in the Niagara Region's Official Plan. The current processes are inhibiting any progress to allow for new housing, and plans need to be more flexible.
