We live outside Rondeau Park and are part of the broader Rondeau community. In this context, the context of using the park, it’s amenities and the amenities outside the park, we feel the cottages are an integral part in the overall quality of the community. Read more

Continual two year extensions do not provide a reasonable long term solution for Rondeau park, its users, cottagers, or the local community. No group is provided security on the future direction of the park with continued short term extensions, and all are left to question what future will occur. Read more

The lease extension is reasonable and should be granted. There is no good reason to end the lease agreements before a final plan is reached. If the leases were ended, these cottages and properties will suffer from neglect and vandalism until a solution is reached.

I do NOT feel that the cottages lease should be extended. This lease has been extended for too long. My family lived in the park and obliged the fact that the cottages would be taken out years ago. It’s time to finally end the lease. Read more

It is well last time to end these leases. Everyone who lives there knew the deal. Residents aren’t good for the environment and Chatham-Kent needs more wild spaces and trees for the health of the environment. There area has minimal tree cover as it is. Read more
