The bill has already had a third reading (today November 23). It is not acceptable that it is still proceeding during the commenting period! changes still must be made to this legislation. I have serious concerns about the sweeping changes.

Saving our Greenbelt especially during times of climate change and flooding seems irresponsible and a reversal on promises made. There are many ways to increase housing in responsible ways. This is not it.
The bill to change development charges will have an effect on my future employment. The municipality in which I work for pays for my salary using Development Charges. Slashing these charges will change operating and capital budgets for the foreseeable future.
