Leave the Green Belt alone. Find other areas to build houses that won’t ruin the ecosystem of the Green Belt. If I had to pick between the preservation of environment and affordable housing (even though these housing developments will not be affordable) I will pick the environment.
There are so many buildings sitting empty or at partial capacity. These present opportunities for high density low income housing. These present opportunity for development into modest condos. These present a solution to the need for housing. Destroying our eco system is NOT a solution.

Please do not do this. We can't just get that land back. There's plenty of zoning changes that could happen in municipalities to increase density instead of building more suburbs. More suburbs means the need for more infrastructure and it's not cost effective.

No, stop this nonsense. The greenbelt is a protected space for a reason. Leave it alone, move on to development in the GTA or something else inane. You will do irrevocable damage to Ontario if you mess up the greenbelt. Don't let your legacy be that of environment destruction.
