This province is destroying its natural environment. Once gone it it gone forever. Green space is for all; humans and nature, humans enjoying nature. It is bad enough farmers kill wolves, coywolves, coyotes, foxes whom we need in our ecosystem. Without them you get more vermin, more disease. Read more

Leave the Green Belt alone. Find other areas to build houses that won’t ruin the ecosystem of the Green Belt. If I had to pick between the preservation of environment and affordable housing (even though these housing developments will not be affordable) I will pick the environment.

There are so many buildings sitting empty or at partial capacity. These present opportunities for high density low income housing. These present opportunity for development into modest condos. These present a solution to the need for housing. Destroying our eco system is NOT a solution. Read more

Doug Ford needs to stop pretending that he’s for the people. He’s for his rich friends and for corporate interests. This is not a solution to the housing crisis. This is nothing but lining his friends pockets at the expensive of the working poor and the environment. It’s all stolen land.

These conservation areas and the green belt must be protected at all costs. Southern Ontario already has to much pollution and has been taking valuable farm land and wildlife areas. We are in the middle of food crisis, why take away more precious farm land that feeds the community. Read more

Please do not do this. We can't just get that land back. There's plenty of zoning changes that could happen in municipalities to increase density instead of building more suburbs. More suburbs means the need for more infrastructure and it's not cost effective. Read more

Doug please no. Keep our PROTECTED land protected. We live on the second largest land mass in the world. There is NO need to gut conservative authorities and drive Ontario further into the gutter. PLEASE STOP. We need this land protected from development. We have other options.

No, stop this nonsense. The greenbelt is a protected space for a reason. Leave it alone, move on to development in the GTA or something else inane. You will do irrevocable damage to Ontario if you mess up the greenbelt. Don't let your legacy be that of environment destruction.
