You don’t have to touch the Greenbelt to provide more housing. What you need is better housing policies. You can always change housing policies within existing developments. They all don’t have to be condos either or detached homes.

You can't bulldoze valuable environmental areas of a certain type, that function to clean our water and air, and sub in other "natural" zones that are already also existing. The City of Hamilton already voted to not expand our urban boundaries and the province is overriding that decision.
