Listen, the green belt is land that we need to protect for the environment. We shouldn’t let money talk in this case as we all know it’s Doug’s friends in real estate that want this to happen. If you really care about climate change, open the damn Toll roads to commercial vehicles. Read more

The greenbelt is possibly the most important part of Ontario. Removing portions of it is not only a complete lie to the public, but something generations in the future will pay for. Adding sections on is not equivalent to maintaining what is already there.

This is nothing but a corrupt kickback for developers who donated large sums of money to the PC party. Even if the land is developed, no doubt it will be in the style of a suburb rather than the intense housing development we need to solve the housing crisis.

Proposed amendments to the Greenbelt should not be allows to pass. This space is an integral part of our province. Allowing the use of this land for housing will not solve the problem and will, in the end, have a negative environmental impact on our province. Read more
