We all know this is a rationalization to allow developers to get even richer. There is plenty of land for housing, it just hasn't been bought by developers yet.
Surely the current Ontario Government can see how important the green belt is to all of us??
I oppose this plan strongly. Instead of taking the greenbelt why not allow denser housing in already developed areas?

There are currently 88,000 acres of land ready to be built upon for affordable housing. There is no need to take chunks of our Greenbelt. Bill 23 must be amended before going forward. Ontario citizens do not want the greenbelt touched.
