I feel very strongly that the Greenbelt has to be left in its natural state. The Conservative party promised before the election the Greenbelt was NOT going to be touched for development. Removing 15 parcels of land from the Greenbelt without any public consultations was never discussed. Read more

I do not support the Proposed Amendments to the Greenbelt Plan. The land you plan to remove or redesignate in the Paris Galt Moraine area are not equal to the existing lands in the Greenbelt. The Greenbelt is environmentally, agriculturally and culturally significant. Read more

I am not opposed to opening the greenbelt to development to create more housing however this should only be done in certain areas to start to make sure that opening the greenbelt will help solve the housing crisis, some good test areas include but not limited to are St Catharines west of highway 406 Read more

I strongly disapprove of the proposed amendment to the Greenbelt. It was created to protect our land. It is not there to pick and choose what land you want for development. There is space required already for the amount of homes you propose to build without destroying the protected lands. Read more
