I do not support eliminating green belt lands for the purpose of development. I find it very disheartening that the conservative government would allow this and give this to the development community. The lands to be exchanged are not an equitable trade by any stretch. Read more

Please repeal Bill 23, because: - The greenbelt is for farming, wilderness preservation and flood/erosion protection, not for building or enriching political donors. - Your "swapping plot" argument is a ruse because the land supposedly to be added is already protected. Read more

I am vehemently opposed to this. We need to maintain the green belt in its entirety. Density and affordable housing should be created in exiting areas. The development of the green belt is a blatant cash grab for developers and we will remember this at the next election.

This is awful. The Greenbelt is so important. Building massive homes on precious land is probably that Ontario NEEDS may be the worst thing I’ve heard since the plans to build on the Carruthers Creek Wetlands. Thumbs down to the PC party here in Ont.

Please reconsider doing irreparable damage to ontarios greenbelt, leave DRAP in place, there are plenty of other spaces within Durham region you can expand upon without harming our green spaces. We want affordable housing and real walkable communities not sprawl and floods. Read more
