Ford said he would protect the greenbelt and now he is going back on that. Our greenbelt needs to be protected. There are enough vacant buildings that could be turned into housing. We don't need more sky rises!!!!!!!!!!
Allowing monster home for the rich are not answering a housing issue. There is other land without using greenbelt that needs to be protected like the oak ridges moraine, that are important water recharge areas.

I honestly cannot think of a single benefit to proposed amendment to the Ontario Greenbelt asides from the economic benefit of those that bought land in order to develop it. I am strongly opposed to this proposal.

The premier promised to not touch the Greenbelt, and yet developers have been buying significant plots of protected land. How are we supposed to trust our government when they are allowed to break promises? There is plenty of space for development, that won't destroy what little we have left.

I totally disagree with this policy change.
Leave the green space alone. It was designated this way a long time ago for a reason.
It needs to be protected. Period.
