It would be a shame to lose all the hard work of the Conservation Authorities. Climate change is real. Flooding risk is real. Development without proper environmental assessments is very short sighted. And it doesn’t have to be this way. Repeal bill 23. It’s as easy as that!

This proposal is a terrible idea. It is not backed by science. It ignores professional consultation. It is completely directed at improving the lives of a few OPC donors and friends of the current premier. The blatant disregard for the people of Ontario is clear when it comes to this proposal. This is a corrupt plan that completely disregards the interests of Ontarians. If you move ahead with this, you’ll be remembered for the greed an unfettered capitalistic government you are. I do not support this Bill and the financial burden it will put on our society. Read more

I vehemently oppose any expansion whatsoever on the Greenbelt. We need the Greenbelt for farming and safe water, it is our duty to protect for our children and descendants. Global warming is real, we are on brink of catastrophic changes to the environment. Read more

I am opposed to changes to the green belt boundaries and yhe further development of lands for residential use. These lands are critical for Ontario and specifically the GTA: water table, wild life, farming, and green space to name a few. We do not need to increase urban sprawl. Read more

Farmland, conservation lands and open green spaces need to be protected. Our future depends on it. Every acre of tillage land that is changed into housing is lost forever. We need to be encouraging planning to build up not out. Make it easier to walk, bike or use public transit. Read more

This is not where we should be focusing. We should be focusing on repairing socialized housing already built, making it easier and worthwhile to create coops, stronger rental control for buildings built after 2018, incentivizing laneway homes and legal suites in already developed land. Read more

This is an absurd proposition. Do better. Ontario deserves better. Don’t touch the greenbelt, create a better investment plan to address the housing crisis. Stop wasting tax dollars on things like this. That money could be going to help support those experiencing homelessness in our communities.
