I absolutely do not want to see changes to the Oak Ridges Moraine. It is unbelievable that such a thought even came about. The land protection is so valuable particularly in the times we are in.
Building on the Oak Ridges Moraine would be a disaster. We’ve seen what climate change has already done to our province. The people of this province require the lands to remain protected. We deserve green space. We deserve access to locally grown food.

There is absolutely no need to change the size or shape of the greenbelt. There is plenty of land already designated for development to accommodate the 1.5 million homes target. We need to stop sprawl. Instead increase density in existing urban areas.

Leave the existing ORMCP intact because the ORM provides essential ecological services, in terms of water and flood control (wetland services) and oxygen production/CO2 sequestration due to the presence of forests. Did you notice the two letters, CP, stand for conservation plan?

Hello We should not make changes to the Greenbelt lands. It needs to stay as it is because it would disrupt water pathways, and possibly contaminate downstream water if the head of the waterway is taken and built upon.
